Cumberland River Holiday Park

Our Holiday Park runs along the banks of the Cumberland River with many of our camp sites close to the river’s edge. The river flows and tumbles through rock pools and sandy sections into the Southern Ocean. We have 3 bedroom Riverview cabins that overlook the river. We also have 2 bedroom cedar cabins nestled in the lush green valley between majestic cliffs and mountains, all of which make it one of the more scenic coastal Holiday Parks in Victoria.

You can have your own fire at Cumberland River Holiday Park in one of our purpose built fire drums and purchase bags of wood and kindling from Reception. We also have hotplates that fit to the fire drums so you can barbeque.

Cumberland River Holiday Park, with its well-stocked kiosk, LPG gas supplies, ice, firewood and pay phone, is a perfect base from which to explore the Great Ocean Road and surrounds. Go bush-walking into the National park or go on endless coastal walks, swim, snorkel or surf at our private beach which is only a 2 minute walk away, go river fishing for Trout or try your luck at rock fishing. (The Salmon are delicious!)

Whatever you decide to do whilst at our park, we don’t exaggerate when we say that Cumberland River Holiday Park is simply…..PARADISE.

Look forward to seeing you all soon

History of Cumberland

Things to do

Cumberland River flows into the ocean 7 kms south west of Lorne, Victoria’s most popular coastal town. In this area, we have the ‘wiggly bit’ of the Great Ocean Road, where the mountains and river meet the sea. This part of the Great Ocean Road is full of attractions for all tastes.
